Kathryn (Kat) Lynnette Trout, age 33 of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly at her residence on August 11, 2018. Born May 27, 1985, she was a 2003 Philo High School graduate and was a member of the Duncan Falls Presbyterian Church.
Kathryn is survived by her grandparents Bill and Sarah Trout of Duncan Falls, her brother Dylan Barnes and Dylan’s mother, Robin Barnes, her uncle Jim and wife Tracy Greenwalt, her aunt Melanie Trout-Luckenbach and her cousins Nicholas, Callie, Cecylia, Sadie, and Avryl ; and her mother, Arla Pride Trout and two sisters, Arica Harwood and Donita Blackstone and aunt Scarlett Ray.
She was preceded in death by her father, Jeffrey Leon Trout, on December 5, 1996.
Music was her world. She loved singing and playing the piano. She sang in Christmas cantatas at church, in school plays and musicals, performed in several local bands in Zanesville, McConnelsville, and Athens, Ohio. In addition, she has recorded several videos of her music which can be viewed on her YouTube channel (Kat Trout). We will miss Kathryn's intelligent debates, sharp sense of humor, and wonderful singing voice.
We would like to thank Kathryn’s special friends who were always there for her, Megan, Lori, and Erin.
A private memorial service will be held for the immediate family. She will be laid to rest with her father in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
