James W. Davis Jr. Obituary

James W. Davis Jr., 57 of Blue Rock, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, August 20, 2018 while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Jim was born on August 15, 1961 in Zanesville. He is the son of Beth (Harlan) Davis and the late James W. Davis Sr. He retired from the Boilermakers Local #105. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to mow and fish. He served his country in the US Navy.

Jim is survived by his wife, Irene (Pauley) Davis whom he married April 19, 2004; his daughter Sierra Davis; his step-daughters, Amanda (Steve) Southall, Andrea (Adam) Wainwright and his step-son Brian (Courtney) Richardson; his grandchildren, Bradley, Mikayla, Creed, Karlee, Abby, Autumn, Hadley, and Harper; his siblings, Jeff Davis, Greg Davis, Jack (Dee) Davis, Matt (Sarah) Davis and Tess Davis.

Visitations will be from 11 to 1pm on Thursday, August 23, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Lisa Jenkins will officiate.
