Jacqueline Dawn McConkey

JACQUELINE DAWN McCONKEY, 57, of Cambridge passed away on April 3, 2019 at Southeastern Regional Medical Center in Cambridge.

Jacqueline was born in Cambridge on December 1, 1961.  She is the daughter of Juanita (Uplinger) Bobo of Cambridge and the late Harold Richard McConkey. 

Jacqueline  was a member and youth leader at the Salvation Army in Cambridge.  She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and crafts and she loved spending time with her friends and family.

Jacqueline is survived by her mother; also her half brother, Harold Dale McConkey; her brother Michael McConkey; her sister Martha McConkey; her several nieces and nephews and special niece and nephew ‘who were like her own children’ James R. (Dana) Gattrell and Misty (James Savage) Gattrell.

In addition to her father, Jacqueline is preceded in death by her two brothers, Russell and Philip McConkey.

In keeping with her wishes a caring cremation will take place by the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord.  A memorial service will be announced at a later date.
