Frank W. McPeak, 83 of Zanesville, passed away on Sunday, August 26, 2018 at Genesis Hospital CCU.
Frank was born in Pennsville, Ohio on March 16, 1935. He is the son of the late Russell and Mae (Spurrier) McPeak. He retired after 38 years with the National Gas and Oil Corporation. He was an avid hunter and a lifetime area farmer, he enjoyed raising produce and working in his woodshop. He was a member of Doric Lodge #172, a 33rd Degree Mason, a member of the Grotto and FOE Eagles #302. He was a loving husband, father, and he loved spending time with his grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great granddaughter.
Frank is survived by his wife of 64 year, Ella (Thompson) McPeak; his children, Eric (Heidi) McPeak and Patricia Butcher; his 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and his one great-great granddaughter. He is also survived by his two sisters and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Frank is preceded in death by his brother, John McPeak, one grandson, Shawn McPeak, two great grandchildren, Franklin and Frederick Butcher and his son-in-law Gary Butcher.
Masonic services will be held at 8 pm Thursday evening.
Visitations will be 12 to 2 and 6 to 8 pm on Thursday, August 30, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be 11am on Friday. Pastor Michael McGuire will officiate the services. He will be laid to rest in the Baptist Cemetery in Penn Township.
