Esther Naomi Bright

Esther Naomi Bright, 93 of Zanesville, passed away on October 6, 2018 at Cedar Hill Care Center.

Esther was born on August 28, 1925 in Point Pleasant, West Virginia.  She is the daughter of the late John and Clara (Barton) Harmon.  She was a house mom who took care of eleven children.  She was the rock of her family, a very loving and caring mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her children, Lewis Bright, Joe Harmon, Rachel Young, Jim (Bev) Bright, Betty Hamil, Charlie (Paula) Bright, Jean (Jim) Thorton, Joan (John) Smith, John (Toni) Bright, Patty Bright; several grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; her two sisters, Ruth Young and Elsie Meek.

In addition to her parents, Esther is preceded in death by her son Garland Bright and three sisters, Freda Hull, Clara VanDye and Edna Benton.

Visitations will be 11 to 1 pm Tuesday, October 9, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where funeral services will be held at 1 pm with Pastor Kenneth Teter officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
