Donna Mae McClellan

Donna Mae McClellan, 82 of Heath and formerly of Philo, passed peacefully with her loving family at her side on April 2, 2019 at her residence and under the care of Central Ohio Hospice.

Donna was born in Zanesville on September 2, 1936.  She is the daughter of the late William Lloyd and Martha Ann (Hall) McClellan.  She was a 1954 graduate of Philo High School, where she was a very proud member of the marching band.  She retired in 2005 after 30 years from AT&T / Lucent Technologies where she worked as a lay out operator.  She was a member of the American Legion Post #29 and the FOE in Buckeye Lake Post # 2801.  She was a huge OSU Buckeye’s Fan and animal lover to her two puppies, Cooper and Piper, but most especially she was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.

Donna is survived by her two daughters, Martie (Shawn) Kirchoff of Heath and Carolyn Sheppard of New Lexington; her five grandchildren, Cody Clippinger, Jess (Dulton) Schmidt, Haley Hamilton, Jacob Hamilton and Kris Kirchoff and her great grandson, Beckham Schmidt and her three nieces, Pat Harrop, Shirley “Sis” Khune and Sherry Braglin.

In addition to her parents, Donna is preceded in death by her three siblings, Carroll “Mac” McClellan, JoAnn Knapp and Virginia McClellan.

The family would like to express their great appreciation for the wonderful care provided by Hospice of Central Ohio and especially her nurse Tiffany.

Visitations will be 1 to 3 pm on Friday, April 5, 2019 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, where a memorial service will be held at 3 pm with Pastor’s Steve and Jamie Harrop officiating.
