Coyan Hayes, of Cambridge, passed away on September 27, 2017, he was 30 years old.  He was born in Cambridge, Ohio on December 17, 1986 to Dennis and Holly Hayes.  He enjoyed playing guitar, and belonged to the band, Brick Road Sunday.  He was a wonderful father, son, and brother.  He was a hard worker, but was also artistic with both his music and his love of drawing.  He was an animal person, and enjoyed his salt water tank filled with his beloved tropical fish.  He was the kind of man who would do anything for you, and he had the Coyan smile; a smile that was infectious and stretched from ear to ear.

He is survived by his father, Dennis (Theresa) Hayes, his mother, Holly (Jon Ansberry) Hayes, his son, Cai Bennett Hayes, his siblings, Derek (Sarah Carter) Hayes, Trevor (Bethany) Hayes, Ryan Hewison and Justin (Abby) Hewison, Kinsley Ansberry, a special niece and nephew, Faith and Hayden Hayes, his grandparents, Roger Hayes, Robert Watkins, Marge Stiffler, and Don and Nancy Mitchell, his best friend, his black lab, Lacey; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandmothers, Betty Hayes and Judith Watkins.

Friends and family are welcome to attend visitations for Coyan at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Friday, September, 29th from 3 to 5pm and 7 to 9pm.  A memorial service will be held at 8pm with Pastor Keith Taylor officiating; a time will be made for friends and family to share their love of Coyan.  In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the Cai Bennett Hayes Education Fund, at the Community Bank of New Concord.  A comforting and care-filled cremation has been performed by the Farus Funeral Home.
