Catherine Burkett

Catherine L. Burkett, 89, of Chandlersville passed away peacefully with her loving family by her side on July 10, 2017 while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Catherine was born in Duncan Falls on March 25, 1928.  She is the daughter of the late Clayton and Gladys (Hartman) Harlan.  She

Catherine is survived by her son Robert (Kim) Burkett of Chandlersville, her daughter Jennilee Harlan Dusenberry of Zanesville and her son-in-law Roger Dusenberry of Crooksville;

her grandchildren, Melissa (Brian) West, Robert (Celena) Burkett Jr., Ashley Burkett, John Michael Collins, Amy Conrad, Bill (Shanna) Trout and Staci Allison; her great grandchildren Amber, Jonathan, Collin, Evan, Billy and Bailey; her great-great grandchildren Tucker Robert, Gracie, Madalynn and Summer; her two sisters Carol Hammer and Sharon Harlan and her special buddy Levi Lanier and her special dear friend Fran Rupe.

In addition to her parents, Catherine is preceded in death by her husband, Wilford “Dick” Burkett who passed away Feb 7, 2010; her grandson Troy Collins in 2000 and her siblings Violet, Dale and Curly Harlan.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 4 to 7 pm Thursday, July 13, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 11 am Friday with Pastor Karen Osborn officiating.  She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
