Anna G. Wilson, 100 year old, of Zanesville, passed away peacefully on November 9, 2018 at her residence, surrounded by her loving family and under the care of Genesis Hospice.
Anna was born in Brush Creek Township on May 27, 1918. She is the daughter of the late Almond and Wilmetta (Morris) French. She was a former member of DAR, a member of the VFW Auxiliary # 1058 and a member of First Families Muskingum County. She was a former member of the South Zanesville United Methodist Church.
Anna is survived by her two children, Harry (Diane) Wilson of Zanesville and Mary Anna (Pasquale) Alessandro of NJ; her seven granddaughters and five great- grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Anna is preceded in death by her husband, Everett L. Wilson, who passed away May 22, 1990; her two sons Thomas and Royal “Dick” Wilson; her sister, Myrtle Barker; her brother, Harry French and her great-grandson, Samuel Everett Miller.
Visitation will be held 11 to 1 pm on Tuesday, November 13, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 1 pm. Pastor George Hughes will officiate the service. She will be laid to rest beside her husband in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
