Obituary
Joseph David “Cowboy Joe” Touvell, 52 of Crooksville, passed away March 5, 2023 Genesis Perry County Medical Center.
Joe was born in Zanesville on November 3, 1970. He is the son of Mary (Don) Wahl and the late David Touvell. He loved to be outdoors, listening to country music or rock and roll, camping, cooking and fishing. He enjoyed spending time with his family, friends and his dog, Karma.
Joe is survived by his daughter, Jemma (Keith) Hostottle; his son, Robert (Creeanna) Touvell; his three grandchildren, Bridgette Meighen, Declan Hostottle, and Gunner Touvell; his two sisters, Hope Lemmings and Tiffany Wahl; two special friends, Wayne Sagle and Brian Estep; his mother and step father, Mary (Don) Wahl; and his dog, Karma.
Joe is preceded in death by his father, David Touvell, who passed away January 1, 2022; his maternal grandmother, Alice Sines; and his paternal grandparents, Russell and Annabelle Touvell.
A gathering of his friends will be held from 12 to 2 pm Saturday, March 11, 2023 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls, 383 Main Street, Duncan Falls. A celebration of Joe’s life will be held at 2 pm with Pastor Steve Smith officiating.
