Faye W. Walker

Faye W. Walker, 78 of Chandlersville, went home to be with the Lord that she served from the young age of thirteen. The Lord gave Faye the desire to find, follow and fulfill His will and that is how Faye will be remembered.

Faye was born August 26, 1945, in Chandlersville to the late Daniel and Violet Whitmire.

She is survived by her husband, Phillip A. Walker of fifty-four years and her four children, Angela Walker of North Carolina, Nathan Walker of Columbus, Sara (Bret) Blackstone of Blue Rock, and Bethany Walker of Galena; four grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Violet Whitmire; and her sister, Clara Rose Maxwell.

God has used His word through our caring church, family, friends, neighbors, and Shriver’s Hospice to fill us with a sense of His presence and love.

In lieu of flowers, we ask that memorial donations be given to Maranatha Bible Church Missions at 2400 Chandlersville Road, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.

A memorial service will be held at 1:30 pm on Friday, March 22, 2024 at the Maranatha Bible Church, 2400 Chandlersville Road, Zanesville.  Pastor Chris Brown will officiate the service.  A private service was held for the family and she was laid to rest in the Chandlersville Cemetery.
