Judith "Judy" K. Adams

Judith “Judy” K. Adams, 81 of Philo, passed away on Saturday, March 16, 2024, at the Genesis Hospital in Zanesville with her loving family by her side.

Judy was born on April 12, 1942, in Zanesville. She is the daughter of the late Jack Dusenberry and Betty DeGarmo. Judy worked for Brockway Glass for thirty-six years before retiring. She bowled for the Brockway League at Military Bowling Alley. Judy loved staying at her summer home by the river where she would fish. She also loved cheering on her grandchildren at their sporting events, spending time with her family, and listening to the Lost Brothers Band and Cy-Cathena rock and roll band, where her son, Mike, was the drummer.

Judy is survived by her husband of sixty-five years, Bill Adams; her son, Michael A. Adams; her daughter, Jackie (Wayne) Boetcher; her grandchildren, Heather (Kyle) Adams-Makin, Shawn Matthew Adams, Kaitlynn Dalyn Boetcher, Kierston Adams, and Karly Adams; her two great-grandchildren, Kolton Makin and Bentley Makin; her brother, Tom Dusenberry; as well as several nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.

In addition to her parents, Judy is preceded in death by her son, Brett Adams.

Visitations for Judy will be held from 3 to 5 and 6 to 8 on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services for Judy will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, at the funeral home. Dr. Rev. James Adams and Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the service. Judy will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
