Danny Edward Devoll, 59 of Zanesville, born April 5, 1965, passed away suddenly on April 10, 2024.
He leaves behind family to carry on his legacy. Danny lived life on his own terms. His children and grandchildren were the center of his world. Danny spent his free time with his longtime partner, children and grandchildren working on cars – his motto was “The Faster The Better”. Danny was a carpenter by trade. His hobbies included hunting ginseng and mushrooms. Danny always found comfort and peace being in the outdoors. His dream was to build a log cabin start to finish with hand cut trees from the Smoky Mountains.
Danny leaves behind a partner of 19 years, Amy Dunkle; his children, Dustin (Stephanie)Devoll, Amber Morgan, Amanda Devoll (Jordan Phillips), Dannie Devoll Jr., Jenamae Devoll (Steve Pro), Brayden Devoll (Ashlie Wilson) Aaron (Jada) Shafer, Mark (Amber) Dunkle, Shanda Dunkle and Brittney Dunkle; and several grandchildren. He is survived by brother, Dean Devoll (Karen Lewis); sisters, Debbie (David) Hoskinson, Brenda Devoll, Cristene (Randy) Stanford and sister and best friend Tami Duesenberry; along with several nieces and nephews, including a very special niece and nephew, Justin Duesenberry, Jennifer (William) Cornell and his dear friends the extended Cornell family.
Danny was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence & Freda Devoll; son, Dane Lee Devoll and a very special brother-in-law Timothy Duesenberry. Danny’s memory will live on through his family and all who loved him.
Visitations for Danny will be held from 12 to 2 pm on Saturday, April 20, 2024, at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls. Funeral services for Danny will be held at 2 pm following visitations. Pastor Steve Harrop will officiate the service. Danny will be laid to rest beside his parents in Duncan Falls Cemetery.
