Rose Marie Smith

Rose Marie Smith, 80 of Shady Lane, Blue Rock passed away peacefully on Monday, August 22, 2016 at Adams Lane Care Center.

Rose was born in Thornville on January 8, 1936.  She is the daughter of the late Paul and Marion (Dupler) Brown.  She was a home maker and a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother and she enjoyed her home on the river and watching the birds and taking care of her rose bushes.

Rose is survived by her children Linda Hill (Albert Barnett) of Zanesville, Raymond (Cyrilla) Smith Jr. of Blue Rock, Sarah Mullin of Zanesville, Paul Smith of Zanesville, Dee (Todd) Miller of TN and Jennifer (Frank) Lemieux of Canada; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Rose is preceded in death by her husband Raymond Smith who passed away on January 20, 2011; her granddaughter Vickie Ellen Smith; her brother Paul Brown Jr. and her son-in-law Steven Mullin.

Family and friends are welcome to attend calling hours from 4 to 6 pm on Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.
