Ronald E. Hoeflich

Ronald E. Hoeflich, 63, of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly at Genesis Hospital on Tuesday, April 18, 2017.

Ronald (Ron) was born March 22, 1954 in Fredericktown, Ohio.

The son of Rosalena “Faye” (White) Dailey of Zanesville and the late Ronald H. Hoeflich. 

Ron worked and retired from Apple Valley Property Owner’s Association as a maintenance worker/grounds keeper. He was an avid outdoorsman. Whether it be fishing, hunting deer, turkey, ginseng or mushrooms, Ron loved to be outdoors. He could spot a mushroom a mile away! Ron kept himself busy with projects as he was always tinkering with his gas powered airplanes and motorized cars and was always helping someone with their personal projects.

Ron is survived by his Mother, Rosalena (White) Dailey; his children, Stacia (Kevin) Schlairet,Travis Hoeflich and Ronald Hoeflich Jr. of Mount Vernon; grandchildren, Trevor, Alayna, Aidan,Neveah, Devin and Ethan Hoeflich, Carli and Avari Schlairet of Mount Vernon. Siblings, Robert (Pam) White and Carolyn “Sue” (Don) Tracey of Zanesville.

In addition to his father, Ron was preceded in death by his sisters Rosalee and Rosemarie.

In keeping with his wishes, a caring cremation will take place and no services will be observed.
