Roberta Lagasse

Roberta Lagasse Carter (Nov. 9, 1962 – Aug. 15, 2015) passed away suddenly but peacefully in her sleep.

Roberta’s life was spent raising her children and grandchildren, teaching them and loving them. She loved spoiling her grandchildren with love. Roberta was a kind, loving, empathetic woman. She loved being a mother and a grandmother. Her heart was filled with so much love and joy and brought happiness to everyone she was around. Her contagious laugh and giving nature will not be forgotten, for she would go without just to make someone else smile. Roberta loved to go fishing, walks in the park, and especially loved thunderstorms.

She was predeceased by her father Robert Carter and mother Mary Pearl Codding (Buttman), sister Diane Paul , and brothers Dennis Charter and Bobby Charter. She is survived by her 2nd mother Dola Carter and her 2nd father Robert Codding, brothers Richard Codding wife Kate, James Codding wife Bridget, Robert Carter wife Judy, Thomas Beaulieu wife Gale, Abel Beaulieu, and Toby Beaulieu, sisters Joyce Cross husband Dwight, Vicki Wiechec and husband Joe. Roberta also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Roberta leaves behind her beloved children and grandchildren. Sean Carter of Westfield and his children Caitlyn, Sophia, and Callaghan. Jessica Kudelka of Westfield, and her daughter Ellen, and Joshua Kudelka of Westfield.   Service will be held on Saturday August 22, 2015 at 11am at The Episcopal Church of the Atonement on 36 Court St. in Westfield.
