Raymond E. Snow

      Raymond E. Snow passed away on Monday, May 2nd while in the care of St. Vincent Hospital.  He was 61 years old.  He was born in Green Briar County, West Virginia to Edward and Louise Snow on February 27, 1955.  Raymond worked as a Supervisor at D.T.E., was a member of the Bay City Baptist Church in Bay City, TX, and was a member of the Snow Brothers Band.  He loved music, and could often be found jamming out, or listening to his favorite bands such as Guns N Roses, Lynyrd Skynyrd, and Aerosmith.  He could always be found with a guitar pick in his pocket. He enjoyed spending time with his family, and treasured his time with his grandkids.

                Raymond is predeceased by his parents, his beloved wife, Lora Jean Snow, and his sister Brenda Bagby.  He is survived by his children, including his daughter, Katherine L. Snow, his son, Robert (Linda) Snow, and his son, John (Christine) Snow.  He leaves his grandchildren to cherish his memory including, Jan T. Harris, III, Trinity B. Snow, Sarah K. Snow, and Chaden Snow, as well as his brother, Mark (Sandy) Snow and a host of nieces, nephews, friends, and former co-workers.

                Friends and family are invited to attend Calling Hours for Raymond on Friday, May 6th at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord from 6 to 8 PM.  Services will follow on Saturday the 7th, with a calling hour from 10 to 11AM, with services starting sharply at 11.  Burial will follow at Salt Creek Cemetery.
