Paul Dale McConnell

Paul Dale McConnell, 67, of Nashport passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 6, 2016 at Mt Carmel East Hospital in Columbus.

Paul was born on March 20, 1949 in Dennison, Ohio.  He retired from the Longaberger Company where he worked security.  He loved spending time in the outdoors fishing and wood working.  He was an avid Cleveland Browns and Indians fan and he served his country proudly in the US Navy.

Paul is survived by his wife Peggy (Coss) McConnell whom he married on February 14, 2000; his daughter Marilyn Davis of Coshocton; his step children Jennifer (Joe) Mitchell of Adamsville; Billy Green (Mandy Baker) of Duncan Falls, Kelly (Lon) Willey of Zanesville and Nicole Green of Dresden; his grandchildren Haleigh and Hayden Mitchell, Adam and Andrew Green and Braxton and Branson Willey; his siblings Lois (Chuck) Mazzoleni, Jerry (Patty) McConnell, David (Dianna) McConnell and a step-Brother Jim McRae; a special cousin Kermit “Sonny” Little and several nieces and nephews.

Paul is preceded in death by his father and step-mother Paul and Janice McConnell and his mother and step-father Wanda and Harold Miller; his brother Bob McConnell and a half-brother Jeff Miller.

A celebration of Life will take place at 2 pm on Saturday, June 25, 2016 at the family’s residence with Military Honors provided by George Selsam Post 1058.  The Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls is caring for the McConnell family.
