Patsy M. Tom

Patsy M. Tom, 70 of Chandlersville passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 with her loving family by her side while under the care of Genesis Hospice at the Morrison House.

Patsy was born in Zanesville on May 26, 1947.  She is the daughter of the late John H and Leona E. (Seaton) Prouty.  She retired from Muskingum County Job and Family Services; she was a member of the Rix Mills Presbyterian Church where she was a member of the Women’s Group.  She loved sitting on her porch swing and watching the humming birds.  She also enjoyed listening to country music with her families’ band, The Green Valley Pickers and Sons of Maverick, and going to all her grandkids events.

Patsy is survived by her loving husband, Dan Tom whom she married July 3, 1966; her son Mike (Pat) Tom of Zanesville and her daughter Christy (Jamie) Harrop of Duncan Falls; her grandchildren, Dakota, Colton, Landon, Harley, Wyatt and Josi; her siblings, Beverly Rickett, Zanesville, Carol (Jim) Morrison of Chandlersville, and Betty (Charlie) Neptune of New Concord.

In addition to her parents, Patsy is preceded in death by a brother-in-law Sam Rickett and a nephew Tommy Neptune.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 on Friday, June 30, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral Services will be held 1 pm Saturday, with viewing hours 1 hour prior to services, at Cornerstone Full Gospel Church, 4509 Salt Creek Drive, Duncan Falls, OH, with Pastor Jim Gibson officiating.  She will be laid to rest in Salt Creek Cemetery near Rix Mills.
