Louise May Dietz Obituary

Louise May Dietz, 81 of Duncan Falls passed away peacefully on April 3, 2018 at The Helen Purcell Home in Zanesville.

 

Louise was born in Cleveland on January 12, 1937.  She is the daughter of the late William S. and Mary (Eckert) White.  She retired from Good Samaritan Medical Center in Zanesville where she worked as an RN; she was a member of the D.A.R. and also a member of the Duncan Falls United Methodist Church as well as a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  She spent many long hours building character in her children as she worked alongside them on the vegetable farm.

 

Louise is survived by her husband Fred M. Dietz whom she married August 5, 1960; her children, Sharon (Steve) Hager of Raymond, OH, Diane (Vere) Miller of Galena, OH, A. Irene (Tim) Swegle of Duluth, MN, and Frank (Susan) Dietz of Zanesville; her grandchildren, Rebecca (Robert) Moore and Ben (Shannon) Swegle, Daniel Barr, Elizabeth and David Miller, and Adam and Emily Dietz; her great-grandson, Jack Swegle; her brother, Theodore (Joyce) White and a half-brother, John White.

In Lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions in Louise's name to either: The Helen Purcell Home, 1854 Norwood Blvd, Zanesville, Ohio or to, Genesis Hospice, 713 Forrest Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701.

Visitations will be 4 to 7 pm Friday, April 6, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls where funeral services will be held at 11 am on Saturday with Pastor Al Laese officiating.  She will be laid to rest in the Duncan Falls Cemetery.
