Kenneth Wesley Stewart, 97 of Zanesville, passed away peacefully at his home on Thursday, August 27th 2015. He was born in Adamsville, the son of the late Henry M. and Bernice (Bowden) Stewart on August 29, 1918.
Ken was the owner of K.W. Stewart Aluminum Products; he was a previous member of the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church and is a member of the Bloomfield Presbyterian Church, Zanesville VFW Post #1058 and the American Legion. Ken enjoyed fishing, hunting, western square dancing and playing cards. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army Air Corps during WWII.
Ken is predeceased by his three sisters Emma Lucille Atkinson, Opal Goff and Clyta Dutro. He is survived by loving children Doug (Barbara) Stewart of TX; Brenda Smith of AZ and Karen (Lance) Mason of VA; his five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; his sister Helaina (Carmen) Amadio of FL; his special friend Mary Ann Morrow and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
Friends and family are welcome to attend Calling Hours for Kenneth from 12 PM to 3 PM Saturday, August 29, 2015 at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord, where services will be held at 3 PM. Rev. Roger Morrow and Rev. Tim Pollock will officiate and he will be laid to rest in New Hope Cemetery with full Military Honors provided by the Cambridge Post of the V.W.F.
