Kathy, you will be missed by both of us. We sat together in church. We wanted you to be our granddaughter's teacher, but she was not that lucky. You were an inspiration to all that met you!!! You fought a courageous battle. The winner, heaven.

Message from Brian & Shelly Schultz, Sabrina
January 18, 2018 7:33 PM

Tears were shed at the Schultz house this evening as I brougt the news home that "Ms. Talk" had gone to be with our Father - not just the tears of a child, but grown up tears. Kathy was Sabrina's 4th grade teacher. They had a special bond, as Sabrina helped her quite a bit especially on the days she knew Ms. Talk wasn't feeling well. Every couple of weeks, Brian would surprise Ms. Talk with Subway when he took Sabrina to school. We all thought very highly of Kathy. She was a magnificent teacher and a beautiful person. I had the opportunity to sit down with her last year and chronical her battle with cancer for a feature in the newspaper. The Franklin Local School District has most definitely suffered a loss. Our love and prayers to her sons, Ryan and Elijah. Go rest high lady, your work on Earth is through.
