John: Enjoyed my visit with Roy and your mother some time back. I came with Bill Smith. I best remember Roy giving me and brother, Clyde along with couple other boys our first summer jobs trimming Christmas trees. First time we had a job where we paid into Social Security fund. First time we boys ran into pay check deductions. Ha! Also allowing bunch of fellows to swim in his pond. Probably such an event would not happen today. Regards and sympathy to You and Your Family. Dear Marshall Family- our deepest sympathy in the loss of Mr. Marshall. He was a good man and will be missed by many. Us kids spent many years with Mr. Marshall making sure we were behaving as we should. Oh, the lessons we learned. He gave much to this world. With his wife they raised a lovely family that are as hard working as he was. May all your memories bring you peace and comfort. The world has lost another good man. God bless and keep you in the palm of his hand.
