John P. Barrone

John P. Barrone passed away Sunday, January 25th, while in the care of the Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, in the loving presence of his family, he was 49 years old.  John was born in Rochester, Minnesota to Ronald C. Barrone and Margaret (Webb) Barrone. 

                John spent his life helping people, never asking anything in return for his assistance; his only request to those he helped was that they pass on the help to another person in need later.  He believed in hard work, but tempered it by using his jobs to get to know people, and John loved being with people.  John did lawn care, and painted, as well as working for the Atlas Well Service.  He enjoyed sports of all kinds, but could always be found rooting for the Mets and the Raiders.  If he wasn’t out lending a hand to someone he could often be found on his beloved Harley Davidson.  He was a member of the Ruritans, was a Township Trustee, and a member of the New Concord Fire Dept. for a time.

                John is predeceased by his father, Ronald C. Barone.  He is survived by his mother, Margaret Webb, his sister, Dawn M. Barrone, and his brother, Jeff R. Barrone.  He also leaves to cherish his memory, his nieces, Jazmin and Milynn Barrone, and his Nephews, Jacob, Gabriel, and Justis Barrone, as well as a special friend, Kim Valentine.  He will be deeply missed by his many friends and former co-workers.

                Friends and family may gather at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Thursday, January 29th from 5 to 8pm.  Prayers will begin promptly at 7:45.  Disposition will take place at a later date.
