Jimmy Wilson

James Arthur “Jimmy” Wilson, 56 of Crooksville passed away on Wednesday, May 25, 2016 at the Thornville Health and Rehab Center.

Jim was born in Zanesville on October 18, 1959 the son of Shirley Wilson of Thornville and the late J.O. Neff.  He previously worked as an operator for the Newark Air Force Base; he was a member of the Crooksville Eagles and the American Legion in Roseville.  He was baptized in the Church of Christ and he served his country in the US Army for eight years serving in the 82nd Airborne.

Jim is survived by his mother, Shirley (Rosser) Wilson and step dad Joe Wilson both of Thornville; his sister Jodi (David) Stickdorn of Thornville; his children Nicole (Chris) Carr, Natalie Fletcher, Nathan Wilson and Jason Wilson all of Crooksville; his grandchildren Hunter, Tyler, Brayden Carr, Alexia Fletcher, Allie and Emma Wilson, Ayden, Jason and Sophie Wilson; his special friend Vicki White; his nephew Timmy Stickdorn and several aunts and uncles.

In addition to his dad, Jim is preceded in death by his sister Karen Sue Wilson and his nephew Joseph David Stickdorn.

In keeping with his wishes, his body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held (DATE & TIME TO BE ANNOUNCED WHEN ARRANGEMENTS ARE FINALIZED) at Christ Church, 6589 Ceramic Road, Crooksville, Ohio 43731, with Stan McHenry officiating.
