Jerry J. Phillips

     Jerry J Phillips, 58, of Zanesville passed away on June 20th, 2015 after a brief illness at the Southeastern Medical Center in Cambridge.

                Jerry was born in Zanesville on January 5, 1957 the son of the late Richard and Ruth (Scott) Phillips.  He worked as a cook at Eaglesticks Golf Club for several years; he umpired at Riverside Park for some years; he was a proud member of AA, being sober for over 25 years, and he served his country in the US Army.  He enjoyed playing softball, golf, bowling, BINGO, and cards with his family.

Jerry is survived by his brothers, Carlos (Vickie) Phillips of Zanesville, Ronald (Donna) Phillips of Waterford, and Alan (Maryann) Phillips of Roseville, as well as his sister-in-law, Debra Phillips of Dayton, several nieces, nephews, and a good friend, John  (Alice) Sines.

                In addition to his parents jerry is preceded in death by his two brothers, Russell and Richard Phillips.  A graveside Service will be held at 11AM on Monday, June 22nd, 2015 at the Stovertown Lutheran Church Cemetery.  The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of the Red Carpet Rehab Center and the Southeastern Medical Center of Cambridge.
