Glenn Howard Little

Glenn Howard Little, 72, passed away on Friday, May 13th while at Genesis Healthcare.  He was born in Zanesville, Ohio on October 4th to Raymond and Ava Laure Little.  He married the love of his life, Sondra Johnson, on September 5th, 1964.  Glenn joined the Fire Dept. in the Late 1950’s, and served for over 50 years.  He worked as a Safety officer for many years, and eventually became the last Fire Chief of Norwich, eventually finishing his career in the New Concord Fire Dept.  Glenn worked as Pressman for the Columbus Dispatch, and was a member of the Norwich United Methodist Church.

            Glenn is predeceased by his parents, and his sister, Rebecca. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Sondra Little, his son, Kevin Little, and his daughter, Tammie (Randy) Wilson, as well as his beloved grandchildren, Kyle (Yazmin) Little, Tyler Little, Taylor Little, and Regan Little; his twin great grandsons, Tristan and Samuel Little, his brother, Fred (Christy) Little, and several nieces and nephews.

            Family and friends are invited to attend Calling Hours for Glenn at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Monday, May 16th from 4 to 8PM.  Services will be held on Tuesday, the 17th at the funeral home, and will start promptly at 11AM, burial will follow at the Norwich United Presbyterian Cemetery, and Pastor Roger Morrow will officiate services.  The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the New Concord Fire Dept., 2 West Main Street, New Concord Ohio, 43762.
