Faye Crawford

Faye Crawford, 95, passed away peacefully in her home on Wednesday, March 29, 2017 in Florida.  She was born in Homer, Ohio on October 5, 1921 to Stanley and Nora (Carroll) Farmer. Her many civic interest include; long standing member of College Drive UP Church serving on the session and Sunday School Superintendent, Rebecca Lodge, Athletic Booster Club, Grange, Girl Scouts, Founding Member EMSPA and Civil Service WWII. She received accommodations from Secretary of State, Taft, for 50 years voting and 25 years serving as Presiding Judge.

She is survived by her children; son, Larry Joseph (Sharon) Crawford, daughter, Barbara Noland-Ruble, son, Audge (Denise) Crawford, daughter, Alice (Ted) Ross, daughter, Cynthia (Joe) West, and daughter, Lonnie (Butch) Cutlip.  She also leaves to mourn, her sister, Maxine Brooks, of Newark, her sisters-in-laws, June Riggins, of Canton, Ethel McElory, of Byesville, and Joy Crawford, of New Concord; as well as 16 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildren, and  7 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her loving husband of 74 years, Audrea J. Crawford, five brothers, five sisters and one great grandson.

Friends and family may gather at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Wednesday, April 5th from the hours of 2 to 4PM and 6 to 8PM.  Services for Faye will be held on Thursday, April 6th at the College Drive UP Church at 2PM, with Pastor Anne Weirich officiating.  Burial will take place at Pleasant Hill Cemetery of New Concord.
