Darrell W. Jenkins

Darrell W. Jenkins, 75, of Philo passed away Wednesday, April 11, 2018, at Genesis Hospice, Morrison House in Zanesville.

Darrell was born on January 16, 1943 in Zanesville, Ohio.  He is the son of the late Russell and Lola (Offenbacher) Jenkins.  He retired from Lear Corporation where he worked in maintenance, and previously worked for the Ohio Ferro Alloy in Philo.  He was a member of the Stovertown St. John’s Lutheran Church, a member of Philo-Duncan Falls Lions Club, the Olive Branch Chapter OES and Anchor Lodge 283 F &AM.  He served his country in the US Air Force for four years.  He enjoyed hunting and the outdoors and he dearly loved his family.

Darrell is survived by his wife Kathleen (Winn) Jenkins, whom he married in July of 1965; his son, Robert Eugene Jenkins, and two daughters Christine Marie Thomas and Teresa Lynn (James) Bonifield; his grandchildren, Ashley Dawn, Kacy Grant, Bradley William and Jordan James; great-grandchildren, Zakariah, Gunner, Brice, Briley and Oliver.

Anchor Lodge will hold Masonic Services, Friday evening at 7 pm.

Visitations will be 4 to 7 pm on Friday, April 13, 2018 at the Farus Funeral Home in Duncan Falls, and one hour prior to the service.  The funeral service will be Saturday at 1 pm with Pastor Al Laese officiating.  He will be laid to rest in Duncan Falls Cemetery, with full Military Honors provided by George Selsam Post #1058, American Legion and the US Air Force Color Guard.
