Connie Jean (Morgan) McManaway passed away peacefully in her home on Thursday, April 12, 2018 while in the loving presence of her family, she was 67 years old. She was born in Zanesville, Ohio on December 17, 1950 to William and Dorothy (Leasure) Morgan. Connie worked as a bus driver for many years before retiring. Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, most especially her grandchildren, whom she treasured; she was a loving and devoted wife. She married her husband, Roger on May 2, 1970.
Connie will be deeply missed by all who knew her including her husband, Roger E. McManaway, her children, Andrea Griffith, Troy McManaway, and Dawn (Jamie) Pollock, as well as her grandchildren Kourtney (Justin) Pipher, Kelli, Kolby, Kubota, Blaikyn, and Braislyn McManaway, Alyssa, Layton, and Jocelyn Pollock, Jeremy Griffith, and her great grandchildren, Somer and Stetson Pipher. She is also survived by her brother, Chuck (Carol) Morgan, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Bill and Dorothy Morgan, and her Father and Mother-in-law, Gerald and Bernice McManaway, and her nephews, Billy and Bobby Morgan.
Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours for Connie at the Farus Funeral Home of New Concord on Sunday, April 15 from 4 to 7PM. Services will be held on Monday, the 16th at the Funeral Home at 11AM. Keith Taylor will officiate the services and burial will follow at the Zion Cemetery of Cambridge.
