Charles Mack Woolf, 91, went home to be with his Lord on Monday, April 17th, 2018 at the Morrison House of Zanesville while in the loving embrace of his family. He was born May 18, 1926 in Greenway, Arkansas to Edgar and Anna (Mack) Woolf. He married the love of his life, Joan Sheets on July 28, 1951.
He is survived by his children including his daughter, Charla (Richard) Calderhead of New Concord, OH; son, Jim (Cindy Moorehead) Woolf of Tipton, IN; daughter, Cathy (Jeff) Whitehair of Bolivar, OH; and son, David (Faye Cochran) Woolf of Durham, NC. He also leaves to cherish his memory nine grandchildren: Bryan (Kristeen) Calderhead, Becky (Keith) Hamilton, Eric (Brittany) Woolf, Dustin Whitehair, Ryan (Mindy) Woolf, Cortney Whitehair, Kevin (Mary) Calderhead, Micah Woolf, Eliza Woolf and 14 great grandchildren, his sister, Opal Anita (Woolf) Perryman, along with numerous cousins, nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, and his beloved wife, Joan (Sheets) Woolf.
Friends and Family may attend a memorial service for Charles on Saturday, April 28th, at the College Drive Presbyterian Church, 2 W High St, New Concord, OH from 10-11AM, with services starting sharply at 11AM. Pastor Anne Weirich will officiate, burial will follow at Norwich Presbyterian Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The College Drive Presbyterian Food Pantry, 2 W High St, New Concord, OH 43762. Farus Funeral Home of New Concord will be assisting with services.
