Andy S. Ankrom

Andy S. Ankrom, 35 passed away at home on Saturday, June 25, 2016.  He was born on a Tuesday morning, July 9, 1980, the 2nd identical twin to a 5 minute older brother.

Andy was the son of Marti Betz-Ankrom of Duncan Falls and Steven Ankrom of Lancaster. 

Andy played baseball and football for the Lancaster Pee Wee associating.  He seriously enjoyed deer hunting and was considered an excellent marksman. He enjoyed fishing at the Betz Family Farm, but his most cherished achievement was his GED diploma dated July 5, 2001.  He was very proud of his diploma!

Andy is survived by his parents, a brother Jay Alex Ankrom of Duncan Falls, a sister Betzi Lou (Ankrom) Cable of Lancaster; two nephews Logan and Costan Cable of Lancaster and two nieces Alexas and Katelynn Ankrom of Duncan Falls.

Andy was preceded in death by maternal grandparents, Norman and Naomi Betz; his paternal grandparents Ralph and Mary Ellen Ankrom; a uncle Norman Randolph Betz; his twin brother Peter Allen Ankrom who passed away February 22, 2011.

The Farus Funeral Home has been entrusted with caring for the Ankrom family.  A caring cremation has taken place.
