Robert L. Shultz

Robert L. “Bob” Shultz, 58 of Philo, passed away on June 12, 2017 at Genesis Hospital in Zanesville. Bob was born in Zanesville on April 28, 1959.  He is the son of the late Margaret Shultz.

Bob was a loving husband, father and grandfather.  He was an avid dirt track fan and he previously worked as a delivery man for Advanced Auto Parts and a truck driver for the New Bakery.

Bob is survived by his wife, Venetia (Hayes) Shultz, whom he married October 29, 1977; his four children, Carmella (Migel) Avalos-Rios of Duncan Falls, Elizabeth (Butch McConnell) Shultz of Zanesville, Bobby L. (Tabby) Shultz II of Zanesville and Joshua (Megan) Shultz of Duncan Falls; his ten grandchildren, William, Branden, Ashton, Quade, Quinten, Zared, Myiah, Macey, Jarett and Clayton; his brother William Shultz of Zanesville and his special nieces, nephews and loving extended family.

In addition to his mother, Bob is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Lewis L. Shultz and Geneva (Jim) Mullens.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 5 to 8 pm on Friday, June 16, 2017 and from 1 to 3 pm Saturday at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls,  where funeral services will be held at 3 pm.  A caring cremation will follow the funeral services.
