Robert L. Irwin

Robert Lee Irwin, 63 of Zanesville, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, April 8, 2017.

Robert was born in Zanesville on December 2, 1953, the son of Esther Jean (Miller) Irwin of Zanesville and the late William L. Irwin.  He was a member of the Apostolic Christian Church in Zanesville.  He was very active in AA and he served his country in the U.S. Army in Korea.

Robert is survived by his mother, Esther Irwin, his siblings Gloria (Bob Evans) Irwin of Green, OH, Janice Goldsmith of Zanesville, Jim (Debbie) Irwin of Duncan Falls, Jeff (Ellen Martz) Irwin of Cumberland, several nieces and nephews, a great niece and several great nephews.

In addition to his father, Robert is preceded in death by his brother, John Irwin.

Friends and family are welcome to attend calling hours from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday, April 11, 2017 at the Farus Funeral Home of Duncan Falls.  Funeral Services will be held at 11 am, Wednesday at the Ark Springs Baptist Church, 8085 Big Muskie Drive, Chandlersville, OH, with Rev. Nathan McDonald officiating.  He will be laid to rest in the Lytlesburg Cemetery, with full military Honors provided by Zanesville VFW Post 1058 and the US Army.
